Pre-School (co-ed)
 

Tiny-Tots- . This class, designed for parent-child interaction, provide a structured, playful atmosphere that offers challenges and exploration in movement skills.
The instructor directs this class, while parents work directly with the child. Students will learn the basic concepts of gymnastics, basic motor skills, exploratory movement, body awareness, independence and designed to develop gross motor function, spatial awareness, and hand-eye coordination. 
Motor activities contribute to the development of the brain-which is indispensable for the organization of the nervous system. All classes are taught through play! Children will roll, crawl, sit, climb, tumble, jump, swing, and more! 
Parent participation provides a comfortable and positive environment for each child. Basic gymnastic skills are introduced on all equipment, while emphasizing social and motor skills. 
Students develop listening skills, while also learning how to "take-turns" with other students, and get comfortable with instructors. Basic gymnastic skills are introduced , and parents included on all activities. 

 

Tiny Tots is offered to children ages 16 months to 3 years

 

Flippers-​ This class is for children who are able to separate from their parents and enjoy the independence of learning gymnastic skills under the direction on a coach. This class is designed to teach balance, coordination, confidence, and motor skill development in a progressive format. Classes include a variety of mental, physical, and emotional skill development challenges. The equipment is modified to meet the needs of all preschool gymnasts.
​Your child will jump and tumble their way into fitness in this exciting class. Each week includes warm up, circuit time (vault, bars, pit, tunnels, and balance beam), trampoline, and physical games, all tied together by fun and music. All coaches are experienced & will provide a safe environment for your child to explore their physical self. A creative and positive teaching environment will foster a healthy self-image and bo.ost their confidence.

 

Flippers is offered to children ages 3 and 4

Gymnastics - Girls Recreation
 

Pre-Elite- 5 to 7 year old children are welcome in this class.
Jr. Elite- 8 year olds and up can join Jr. Elite.

A child need not be Olympic bound to enjoy the sport of gymnastics.This introductory/beginning level program is ideal for girls interested in gymnastics as a fun extra-curricular activity.
Our specially designed system of skill progression will maximize safety and successful learning of gymnastics fundamentals, coordination, strength, flexibility, a love for fitness, and self-confidence are our goals for your child. 
Your child can experience the satisfaction that comes from mastering a new skill. I.F. Training Center strives to create a safe, positive, and fun-loving environment for children of all ages. While increasing their basic skills and gymnastics vocabulary, students will continue to develop the strength and flexibility necessary for success in any physical endeavor.

 

Girls Gymnastics consists of four apparatuses:

Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor

 

 

Boys Recreation
 

Our boy’s gymnastics classes offer gymnastics instruction, strength, and body control in a safe and fun environment.  Boys need not be Olympic-bound to enjoy the sport of gymnastics.  Our boys program compliments all other sports.  Here is where your son can gain the agility, strength, flexibility, discipline, and mental focus to excel in whatever sport or activity they choose in the future.

 

Gymnastics instruction centers on the six Men’s Olympic disciplines:

There are classes for 5-7 year olds and 8 and up
Tumbling
 

An athlete who is interested on working to improve their core tumbling skills, should definitley enroll in this class. 
The class starts with a complete body stretch, then goes through a "basic" tumbling warm-up. The class is then broken into groups and each group starts to work on their tumbling skills. All gymnasts are at different levels of their progression, by the end of the class, athletes will be working on tumbling passes that can range from round offs to round off, back handspring, back tucks, etc. Every skill level is welcome into this class.

 

Tumbling consists of:

Warm up, basic gymnastic moves, back handsprings, tucks

Gym and Jazz
 

This class allows busy parents to save both money and time and still allow their girls to participate in both gymnastics and dance. 

 

The dance portion of hte class teaches basic jazz dance technique, terminology and movement quality with an emphasis on proper execution of jazz isolations, rhythems and style performed to contemporary music. The gymnastic portion of hte class teaches basic skill and gymnastics vocabulary, students will continue to build a solid gymnastics foundation through the use of a variety of equipment and increase skill level through teh use of a strength and stretching warm-up session.

 

Gym and Jazz consists of:

Warm up, vault, uneven bars, Beam and Floor Exercise

CHEERLEADING 

 

This is a 1 1/2 hour class designed to get each athlete polished and performance ready.  Training includes strength, flexibility and tumbling while learning the rules and accolades of the sport.

 

Other skills taught are stunting, jumps, dance and of course cheers.  

This is a great way to learn new techniques, improve your cheerleading skills and to reaffirm performance at its perfection.  

 

This class is available for children ages 4 to 12.  

 

With multiple progression surfaces, you’ll be guaranteed safe and soft landingsuntil even the most radical and difficult skills are learned.

Extreme Sports
 

As everyone knows, gymnasts and gymnastics coaches have the most experience in twisting and flipping through the air.  Other extreme sports are now starting to use the same somersaulting and twisting skills that gymnasts have used for years.

Training includes strength and flexibility training, trampoline training, tumble track training, tumbling.  

 

The area’s only Gymnastics Safety Pit provides safe and soft landings until even the most radical and difficult skills are learned.

 

Our gymnastics Extreme Sports class is the best and fastest way to develop the kinesthetic (air–awareness) feel to learn and perform multiple twisting and somersaulting skills.
